The multimedia classroom 110/111, located on the first floor of the Faculty building, utilizes the latest technologies to enhance the quality of education and provide comfort for both students and lecturers. It features interactive whiteboards, advanced audio and video systems, and modular furniture that allows for flexible arrangement of the space to meet the needs of various classes. The room is fully equipped for hybrid lectures with installed omnidirectional microphones and cameras that automatically focus on the speaking individuals.

The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has established the “Welcome to Poland” program with the goal of enhancing internationalization within Polish higher education institutions. NAWA's funding is intended to support initiatives that strengthen universities’ ability to accommodate international students and promote the institutions’ global reach and reputation.

Launched by NATO in 2023, DIANA's main task is to bring together scientists and research teams working in start-up companies and on cutting-edge solutions in the field of so-called deep technology (deep tech) with civilian and defense units. The group consists of 32 countries of the Alliance, including Poland. The Polish Ministry of Defense's Innovation Department is the coordinator of the country's participation in the accelerator.

The very good past year allowed our university to advance and thus be among the five best universities in Poland. This is a great success, as is maintaining the 3rd place in the category of technical universities.

The project's goal was to create a system of products that are visually appealing, encourage use, are environmentally friendly, and align with modern smart city trends. The system's elements were designed with durability, functionality, and aesthetics in mind, fitting into sustainable development goals by promoting responsible production and consumption. They also serve as excellent platforms for eco-educational purposes and help companies and local governments achieve ESG goals.

Gdańsk University of Technology scored 73.9 out of 100 possible points in this year's edition, marking an increase of 8.9 points year-over-year (up from 65 points in 2023) and a rise in the global ranking from 601-800 to 401-600, and in the national ranking from 4-8 to 2.

In the latest edition of QS WUR, 1,503 universities from 105 countries were ranked. Among them were 22 universities from Poland, with Gdańsk University of Technology ranking in the top 5 in Poland.

Prof. Martin Wenke conducted lectures and exercises for students as part of the courses "Essentials of Micro- and Macroeconomics" and "Entrepreneurship." Meanwhile, Prof. Harald Vergossen conducted a full-day workshop, "Production-Distribution Game - Beer Game," for students of the Innovation Science Club.

On May 23-24, 2024, scientists from over 20 research centers in Europe, the USA, Japan, and China presented the latest research findings on technological connections in the global economy. The plenary lectures were delivered by:

The city welcomed us with rays of sunshine and encouraged us to work intensively on the next phase of the project. We are in the final stage of the project, which will conclude in October this year. We discussed details regarding the second, international stage of the student competition, the first stage of which is currently underway.
