AMBA logo

AMBA - Association of MBAs

It is the oldest and most prestigious international accreditation granted by the MBA Association. This accreditation is the international standard for all MBA, DBA and Master’s Degree programs. The MBA Association currently accredits the programs of two percent of the best business schools in more than 70 countries. Currently, only 7 universities in Poland attained the AMBA certificate of accreditation.

IQA Ceeman

CEEMAN - Central and East European Management Development Association

 

The accreditation is granted by the Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN). Business schools and universities that educate in the field of management can apply for CEEMAN IQA institutional accreditation. The accreditation involves a detailed assessment of, inter alia, mission and development strategy, adapting the education offer to market needs, innovation in education, relations with the business community, internationalization.

PKA - Polish Accreditation Committee

The Polish Accreditation Committee is an independent expert body working to improve the quality of education in all public and private universities operating in the Polish higher education system. Getting evaluated by the Polish Accreditation Committee is obligatory. A  negative evaluation may result in a decision of the minister responsible for higher education to withdraw or suspend the right to educate in a given field of study and at a given level of education.

EMOS - European Master in Official Statistics

The European Master in Official Statistics (EMOS) is a label awarded by the European Statistical System Committee (ESSC) for the period of four years to a university educating highly qualified staff for statistical services, but also for management in the conditions of dynamically changing information opportunities and IT techniques. Currently, the EMOS network includes 33 training programs in 18 countries. It also includes cooperating partners in statistical offices.

Parametrization by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education


Scientific institutions that conduct scientific research or development work on a continuous basis, as indicated in Art. 2(9) of the Act of 30 April 2010 on the Principles of Financing Science (Journal of Laws of 2014, item 1620, as amended), are subject to a comprehensive assessment, which is the basis for attaining a scientific category. The quality of scientific or research and development activities of individual institutions is subject to evaluation by the Research Units Evaluation Committee (KEJN).

BMDA - Baltic Management Development Association

The organization was established at the end of 2002. The idea behind its creation was to create a regional management development network. It was established on the initiative of universities, business schools, individual professors and representatives of the business world. The motto of BMDA is "Bridging East and West".

The Ranking of Academic Universities Perspektywy includes Polish academic universities (public and private) that have at least one right to confer doctoral degrees and have at least 200 full-time students. The criteria taken into account are: Prestige, Graduates on the labor market, Scientific Potential, Inventiveness, Scientific effectiveness, Educational conditions and Internationalization.
