On April 11, 2024, the Faculty of Management and Economics at the Gdańsk University of Technology held a diploma award ceremony. It was a special moment for the graduates of first and second degree programs, who proudly received their well-deserved diplomas. The ceremony gathered students along with their guests, the Faculty Council, lecturers, supervisors, reviewers, and many other guests who wanted to share this special moment with the graduates.

The ceremony began with a welcome address to the guests by the Dean of the Faculty of Management and Economics, Professor Małgorzata Gawrycka, and the Vice-Rector for Education, Professor Mariusz Kaczmarek. The Dean warmly greeted everyone present and offered congratulations to the graduates on reaching this significant milestone in their lives.

A key moment in the ceremony was the speech by Paweł Tarnowski, a graduate of the Faculty, who from his passion for sailing and windsurfing, became a world Vice-Champion in the Olympic iQFoil class. He is a European champion, a multiple World Cup gold medalist, a multiple Polish champion, and represented Poland at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The most important part of the ceremony was the awarding of diplomas to the graduates of the first and second degree programs. Each graduate received their diploma from the hands of the Dean and the Vice-Rector for Education.
