Gdańsk University of Technology (Gdańsk Tech) is one of the oldest public universities and a leading research university in Poland. It has eight faculties, close to 1300 academic teachers representing 14 scientific disciplines, and over 14,000 students educated in 37 fields of study. GUT hosts four modern research centers – BioTechMed Center, EcoTech Center, Digital Technologies Center, and Advanced Materials Center, two interdisciplinary R&D centers - Offshore Wind Energy Center and the STOS (Smart and Transdisciplinary knOwledge Services) Competence Center running one of the most modern supercomputers – Kraken. Recent projects are the Horizon 2020 Inclusive Governance Models and ICT Tools for Integrated Public Service Co-Creation and Provision,  Gov 3.0 – Scientific foundations training and entrepreneurship activities in the domain of ICT – ICT-enabled governance (gov30.eu) and Evidence-based policymaking using agent-based modelling (European Union’s Structural Reform Support Programme).

United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV), based in the city of Guimarães, northern Portugal, is a policy-oriented think tank dedicated to Electronic Governance; a core centre of research, advisory services and training; a bridge between research and public policies; an innovation enhancer with a particular focus on sustainable development, social inclusion, and active citizenship. Established in 2014, joining currently 40 researchers from 19 different nationalities, UNU-EGOV has been cementing its role as an international reference of excellence in this area, bringing together multidisciplinary and multicultural teams around complex problems and emerging challenges. UNU-EGOV has been actively involved in supporting member states to develop, assess and monitor their national and regional digital strategies, and collaborates with a wide range of Universities and International Organisations.

Umeå University (UMU), established in 1965 as Sweden's fifth oldest university, is currently a vibrant academic institution with a significant international presence, boasting approximately 37,000 students and 4,500 employees globally. Comprising one of Sweden's most comprehensive research facilities, Umeå University engages in a diverse range of scientific investigations, fostering competitiveness on the global stage. The Department of Computer Science actively participates in various AI-related initiatives, particularly within the Responsible Artificial Intelligence (RAI) research group led by Virginia Dignum. The RAI group explores the social and ethical dimensions of AI systems, delving into challenges, risks, and policy implications. The group's involvement in projects like HumanE AI Net (H2020) and the AI4EU platform focuses on enhancing trust in AI through advancements in text data trustworthiness verification models.

Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences (BUAS) has become a leading institution in the Brandenburg region, offering a diverse range of study programs across three departments which are Business and Management, Engineering and Computer Science and Media. One of the focus points of the research is the topic of Digital Transformation. Currently, BUAS is involved in the joint project "InNoWest" which demonstrates a commitment to practical application and sustainability. The research profile of BUAS in Digital Transformation is shaped by the interdisciplinary courses which provide the students with cutting-edge knowledge on various aspects of AI.

Alfred Nobel University (UAN) occupies a leading position in the field of innovative technologies in education and contributes to the strengthening of the Ukrainian state's position. University implements a strategy of sustainable development during unstable and war times in Ukraine. At the university, applicants are trained in 35 study programs: 20 at the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, 15 at the second (master's) level, and 4 at the third (scientific) level. The university also implements dual degree programs The university is a participant in international projects funded by Erasmus+, USAID; the British Council; The Lane Kirkland scholarship Program; the Visegrad Fund; and Tempus. The project Erasmus+ "Sustainability and Internationalisation Capacities to promote Modernization of Newcomers Higher Education in Neighborhood East Countries" and Erasmus+ project Jean Monet Module "European Union Strategies for Growth, Competitiveness and Prosperity for Study programs in Alfred Nobel University" were launched.
