The Vice-Rector for Internationalization cordially invites you to participate in the Erasmus Staff Week that will take place at the University of Murcia from May 8 to May 12, 2023.

We have prepared a program for the following target groups:

-Staff involved in International Offices

-Staff working in University Libraries.

-Staff working in IT Services.

-Erasmus+ Staff Training Week Spanish Course (Language Service): Intensive Spanish Course (20 hours), B1 level. In addition to fill in the online application, it's compulsory to send by email to staffweek@um.es  an A2 Spanish level official certificate.)

"Exam Session Emergency Tips" - on the run-up to exams

The exam session at Gdańsk University of Technology begins on 28 January. There is not much time left before the exams, but every student knows that the last days before taking the exam are crucial. How to plan your studies, how to help yourself and concentrate better, how to learn more effectively and find time to rest?

Prof. Joanna Mytnik, director of the Center for Innovative Education, whose passion is designing methods, tools and entire learning ecosystems, has prepared some tips for all students. It's worth trying them out!

No more paper theses

Students who submit their diploma theses at the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Gdańsk University of Technology can do it using the MojaPG system. This means that these works do not have to be printed in several copies, but only sent in electronic form.

"The change in PG's Rules and Regulations, which abolished the obligation for students to print their theses, is a consequence of the implementation of Gdansk University of Technology's organizational culture, part of which is environmental protection. We are aware that paper production is associated with significant depletion of natural resources, as well as high energy consumption. The need to submit printed versions of papers was due to the regulations previously in force.

International Management and Executive MBA in a prestigious ranking

We are pleased to inform you that two programs at the Faculty of Management and Economics of GUT have been distinguished in the Eduniversal Ranking of Best Masters & MBA Worldwide.
  • The "International Management" program was ranked 17th in Eastern Europe.
  • The MBA program ranked 24th in Eastern Europe.
  • Both programs were qualified as Top 200 in the world.

  On December 8, prof. Ewa Lechman conducted guest scientific workshops as part of the Open Seminar Series in Business and Management Studies at the invitation of prof. Arnis Sauka from the Center for Sustainable Business at the Stockholm Business School in Riga (Centre for Sustainable Business, SSE Riga).

Sign up for yoga classes

The International Relations Office invites students and staff to sign up for the yoga classes organized as part of the "Hey, are you OK?" project. Registration is open until January 13th. The number of places is limited – it's worth hurrying!

If you were not able to enroll in yoga classes in the first autumn-winter edition nothing lost! We cordially invite you to register for meetings that will start in January and last until April.


How to sign up?

Registration for yoga classes will last from December 5th to January 13th. Dates of classes of individual groups:

group III (classes: 24.01, 7.02, 21.03, 21.03, 4.04 from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.)
group IV (classes: 31.01, 14.02, 28.03, 14.03, 28.03, 11.04 from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.)

St. Nicholas’ Day at Gdańsk Tech - we were all together

On 6 December the square in front of the Main Building turned into St. Nicholas’ town. It was lively, fun and crowded.

The Gdańsk Tech Christmas tree lit up symbolically, the queue of fans of gingerbread cookies and warming drinks was very long, and the Santa hit list with special dedications resounded throughout the meeting. There was also St. Nicholas himself with his sack full of gifts.

– Today, there is no rector, vice-rectors, lecturers or students here. We are one polytechnic community - said prof. Krzysztof Wilde, Rector of Gdańsk Tech - I wish you all a wonderful St. Nicholas’ day.
