dr Katarzyna Kubiszewska
I have been working at the Department of Finance since 2008 and I deliver classes and lectures in finance and banking. In my research work, I am interested in the transformation of banking systems in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, but also in financing the cultural sector. Previously, for over a decade, I worked in the financial departments of Polish and foreign companies. During my didactic work, I often refer to my experiences in business practice. As a teacher, I also develop active learning methods, I use methods such as teamwork, project work or gamification.
For some time I have been cooperating with the Experiment Science Centre, Children's University of Economics, and primary schools as an educator of children and youth in the field of finance and banking because I believe that the education about finance and banking should begin at a very early age.
Privately, I am interested in history (also the history of finance), I like to visit various regions in Poland and ... watch crime movies, but without bloodshed ;-)
