We focus on economics, management, law, psychology, sociology, which are disciplines where entrepreneurship and its various aspects are important areas of research. Thanks to the diversity of disciplines we represent, we conduct multifaceted research that goes beyond entrepreneurship to also encompass the entrepreneur, their environment, and business activities conducted in Poland, Europe, and globally.
Members of our department are involved in activities such as:
- The Entrepreneurship Council at the President of Poland's Office.
- Collaboration with European partners within the Euro CC2 project.
- Conducting numerous research and analytical projects for international organizations (European Commission, European Training Foundation, CEDEFOP, Eurofound, Inter-American Development Bank) and national organizations (Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, Ministry of Family and Social Policy, Educational Research Institute).
- Involvement in regional government activities (senior policy, development programs).
- Participation in the Senior Policy Council at the Ministry of Family and Social Policy.
- Collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) under the Age-Friendly Cities and Communities program.
- Membership in the Pomeranian Committee for Social Economy Development for the 2022-2024 term (recommended by OMGGS).
- Participation in the Working Group on Social Responsibility of Universities at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy.
- Membership in the Polish Public Procurement Association.
- Expert roles in areas such as Entrepreneurship Education, Skills Forecasting and Labor Market Development (CEDEFOP), European Commission on Labor Market, Skills, and Public Employment Services.
- Leadership in Climate Leadership at UNEP GRID Poland.
- Involvement in the "Sustainable Development Ambassadors" program at the United Nations Association of Poland, aimed at supporting women's development.
- Assessment of projects under the Government Active+ Program.
- Participation in the "Smart Progress - Animation of the Development of Pomorskie Voivodeship's Intelligent Specialization Areas as Part of the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process" project, conducted by the Pomorskie Voivodeship Marshal's Office.
- Participation in the regular activities of Innovation Brokers organized by the Pomorskie Development Agency.
We engage in scientific cooperation with international institutions through international programs, host visiting professors, and send our faculty abroad for scholarships and scientific internships.
