Acknowledgement to the Gdańsk Tech in EUA-IEP institutional evaluation

One year after the institutional evaluation of the "European University Association - Institutional Evaluation Program" (EUA-IEP), the university's actions in response to the June 2023 recommendations for improvement were acknowledged

Gdansk University of Technology confirmed its competences in the EUA-IEP Institutional Evaluation Program in 2023. First such evaluation took place in September 2018.

In June 2024, Gdańsk Tech sent the Gdańsk Tech - EUA-IEP evaluation 1-year progress report. On July 22, 2024, in a Response to progress report by Gdańsk University of Technology, EUA-IEP expressed its acknowledgement and gratitude for the actions taken in accordance with the recommendations for improvement outlined in the Follow-up Evaluation Report.

Among the modifications implemented over the past year, the following were particularly noteworthy and well-received:

• enhancing communication and administrative efficiency,

• increasing the effectiveness of student feedback mechanisms,

• fostering greater flexibility of the study process,

• initiating optimization processes for doctoral school operations.

The outcomes of the ongoing initiative were reviewed in light of the potential for further advancement through collaborative efforts within the Fahrenheit Union, as well as across a broader international context through the University’s participation in the ENHANCE Alliance.

Encouraged by the EUA-IEP to continue this ambitious program of change, we would like to thank all the employees involved in these changes and wish them the best of luck in continuously improving the quality of the University's activities.
