Lecturers from Hochschule Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences at the Faculty of Management and Economics
Prof. Martin Wenke conducted lectures and exercises for students as part of the courses "Essentials of Micro- and Macroeconomics" and "Entrepreneurship." Meanwhile, Prof. Harald Vergossen conducted a full-day workshop, "Production-Distribution Game - Beer Game," for students of the Innovation Science Club.
Aleksandra Łada, Chair of the Innovation Science Club: "The Beer Game workshop with Prof. Dr. Harald Vergossen helped us practically understand how supply chains work and the crucial role of team communication. We were fascinated to see that, despite being in different teams, we made similar mistakes. Moreover, Prof. Vergossen is an incredibly friendly person with vast knowledge and passion for what he does."
Dr. Katarzyna Stankiewicz, Faculty Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Program: "The Erasmus+ Program promotes international cooperation in many areas. Most often, students are interested in semester-long exchange opportunities at other universities. However, it is also worth remembering that thanks to Erasmus+, we can invite lecturers and researchers from other universities to our faculty, enriching our educational offerings for students and simultaneously deepening existing educational and scientific contacts."
Collaboration with Hochschule Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences is very fruitful and is expanded each year with new activities. In April this year, in cooperation with this university among others, we organized an Intensive Week as part of the Circular Economy–Sustainability Hackathon project . Discussions are also underway regarding the development of ongoing cooperation.
