Dr. Eng. Anita Richert-Kaźmierska from the Faculty of Management and Economics was appointed by Beata Rutkiewicz, the voivode of Pomerania, to the position of plenipotentiary for family and social policy. In this role, she will initiate and coordinate cooperation with local government units in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in the field of social affairs

In addition, the new plenipotentiary's responsibilities will include initiatives for intergenerational integration and senior activation, combating discrimination and exclusion of people with disabilities, as well as supporting non-governmental organizations and developing social services. Since February 2024, Dr. Eng. Anita Richert-Kaźmierska has also been a permanent advisor to the Senior Policy Commission of the 10th term of the Sejm. Furthermore, on March 1, 2024, Minister of Senior Policy Marzena Okła-Drewnowicz appointed Dr. Eng. Anita Richert-Kaźmierska to the Senior Policy Council at the Ministry of Senior Policy for a two-year term 2024-2026. Dr. Eng. Anita Richert-Kaźmierska is also the deputy chairman of the Pomeranian Voivodeship Council for Senior Policy, as well as a member of the Social Assistance Council at the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Policy. The scientist is a member of the Polish Economic Society, the Polish Gerontological Society, and the Polish Society of Social Policy. In her scientific work, Dr. Eng. Anita Richert-Kaźmierska focuses on social policy issues, including deinstitutionalization of social services, support systems for those at risk of social exclusion, aging society, and discrimination against older people in the labor market.
