New student zone in the Hydromechanics building.
"This is a historic building, one of the first on the campus, which recently underwent revitalization," says Mariusz Miler, the university chancellor. "The new zone is a 150 sqm aesthetic space where young people can relax or study together, both individually and in groups. This place combines functions that foster creativity but also tranquility."
Students have access to tables, desks, sofas, and comfortable chairs. The zone is well-lit and includes greenery. There is also access to media ports, and the zone is equipped with multimedia projectors, a small library, and a collection of board games. The zone will be available seven days a week from Thursday, January 11, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Entry is possible from the side of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automatics building and also through the PG store during its opening hours.
