Obtaining EMOS certification: Distinction for the Faculty of Management and Economics

Obtaining the European Master in Official Statistics (EMOS) certification by the Faculty of Management and Economics is a significant achievement and a testament to the high quality of the Economic Analytics program at our university. This prestigious recognition confirms that the faculty meets the highest standards in the field of statistics and opens new opportunities for our students, allowing them to participate in prestigious European-level trainings, internships, and conferences. As a result, our graduates gain comprehensive knowledge in the area of official statistics and become sought-after specialists in the job market.

The EMOS certification is awarded by the European Statistical System Committee (ESSC) for a four-year period to universities that educate highly qualified personnel for statistical and management services in the rapidly changing world of information and IT techniques.

Our university holds the prestigious EMOS accreditation, making it one of only 33 universities in Europe and four in Poland to achieve this status. This accreditation provides students with opportunities for internships and close cooperation with institutions involved in official statistics. Additionally, it offers the chance to participate in student training and conferences at Eurostat, the leading statistical office of the European Union.

The EMOS track will be available to students in the upcoming academic year for those in the 3rd semester of the Master's program in Economic Analytics with a specialization in Macroeconomic Analysis, and starting from the new calendar year for students specializing in Data Analytics. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive the prestigious European Master in Official Statistics diploma, which serves as a valuable asset in the job market.
