Gdańsk University of Technology Library invites you to use the acoustic cabins. | Faculty of Management and Economics at the Gdańsk University of Technology

The cabins have outstanding acoustic isolation, ensuring that external noise does not disturb their users. Additionally, discussions and phone calls inside the cabins do not disturb the silence in the reading area.

Equipped with various practical amenities, the cabins feature adjustable LED lighting, regulated ventilation triggered by motion sensors, internet access, a 230V power socket, 2 USB ports, and an RJ45 network cable connection. They also offer the option to mount a television for presentations. For user comfort, the cabins are furnished with two comfortable, high-quality sound-absorbing sofas and a work table. Transparent windows provide access to natural daylight.

Throughout the summer vacation, the acoustic cabins will be available to all users. During the post-vacation period, a reservation system will be introduced. This new addition to the Gdańsk University of Technology Library marks the first stage in creating additional workspaces for readers.
