2nd place in the World Statistics Skills Competition.
The team consisting of Marta Frąckowiak, Jakub Sochacki, Michał Rejmak, Maciej Świetlik, Tomasz Kuczyński (from the Data Engineering program) and their supervisor, Dr. Eng. Karol Flisikowski, an associate professor, achieved 2nd place in the International Statistics Skills Competition in the category of "higher education institutions."
The winning project representing Poland and Gdańsk University of Technology is titled: "The Impact of Social Media on Students' Life Balance."
The competition results were announced at the conclusion of the 64th ISI World Statistics Congress in Canada.
