Joint research projects of Poland and Slovakia - NAWA applications until July 24th.

NAWA
The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) in Poland and the Slovak Research and Development Agency (SRDA) invite applications for funding joint research projects carried out by scientists from the Republic of Poland and the Slovak Republic.

The objective of the call is to support the mobility of scientists involved in jointly agreed and conducted research projects by applicants from Poland and partners from Slovakia, eligible according to the respective country's rules. The funding provided under the call is intended to cover the costs of travel and stays for scientists, excluding funding for the research itself. The funding for the research must be secured from other sources.

Applications for joint projects must be submitted simultaneously - each party submits an application to the designated institution in their respective country, i.e., partners from Slovakia to SRDA and partners from Poland to NAWA. Only applications submitted together in Poland and Slovakia will be considered. Applications submitted in Poland and Slovakia should have the same title in English and the same implementation period.

Units that have already received funding under previous calls for joint research projects with a specific country can submit an application only with a different partner.

Application conditions:

  • The presented research project can cover all scientific disciplines.
  • Projects submitted under the call can be implemented for a period of 24 months, starting from January 2, 2024.
  • The maximum funding amount from the NAWA budget for a project is 30,000 PLN.
  • Applications must be submitted by July 24, 2023, at 15:00 local time for Warsaw.
  • Applications can only be submitted through the NAWA teleinformation system.
  • Applications must be submitted to the Project Management Center by July 18, 2023.
  • The project must be registered in the My PG system by July 10, 2023.
