A title of doctor habilitatus for dr hab. Adam Marszk

We are pleased to inform you that dr hab. Adam Marszk from the Department of Economics was granted the title of doctor habilitatus by the Scientific Field Council of Social Sciences of the Gdańsk University of Technology.
On behalf of Dean dr hab.  Małgorzata Gawrycka and the entire academic community of the Faculty of Management and Economics at the Gdańsk University of Technology, we would like to congratulate Adam Marszuk and wish him further success.

Dr hab. Adam Marszk has been associated with the Gdańsk University of Technology for many years. He started his adventure at the university by obtaining a doctoral degree in economic sciences, he was an assistant at the university and, at the moment, he is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Management and Economics. He is the author and co-author of many publications and research projects, including 5 monographs, over 40 articles, 4 projects financed from national and international sources. Since 2021, he is on a scholarship at the University of Friborg in Switzerland. He is an active member of scientific and professional associations (e.g. International Trade and Finance Association, American Economic Association, Royal Economic Society).

He has received many awards and distinctions in his career. He received the "Lecture of Marek Siudak" award from the Faculty of Management of the Warsaw University of Technology in 2021, and the Scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education granted to outstanding young scientists (2020-2022).

Dr hab. Adam Marszk also conducts numerous studies devoted to e.g.: the role of financial systems, stock markets in developing countries, innovative financial products and the impact of new technologies on the financial system, including the FinTech industry.
