Scholarship for a study period at Kiel University in summer term 2022 | Faculty of Management and Economics at the Gdańsk University of Technology

The city of Kiel is once again offering a scholarship for a study period at Kiel University of Applied Sciences in summer term 2022.

Time: Summer term 2022

Duration: 5 months

Scholarship: 860 € per month.

Study fields: Business, Engineering, IT, Media, Social Work.

Students apply as an exchange student (Erasmus) but they have to add:

- Letter of motivation: focus why they want to study in Kiel, special topics at UAS, activities? How they plan to contribute to transnational understanding in Kiel and after returning. Special interests and community building activities.

The motivation letter is very important for the selection committee.

- 2 Letters of recommendation.

Please find further details enclosed. The scholarship serves to maintain the close, friendly relationships between the twin cities as well as to promote gifted international students in order to raise interest in applied-scientific work. The applicants’ topics of studies/ scientific work should in some way be related to the city of Kiel (e.g. marine sciences, interest in Kiel UAS, German economy/history or the focus points of the respective universities).

Kiel, as the capital of Schleswig-Holstein, hopes to be able to provide the scholarship holders with guidance during their stay in Kiel and to involve them in the cultural and socio-political life.

Please note that Erasmus-students cannot apply for the scholarship so that there is no double funding.
