In 2019, a special EMOS (European Master in Official Statistics) certified training track was established at the Faculty of Management and Economics dedicated to second-cycle students in the field of Economic Analytics. Students opting for the EMOS certified training track have the opportunity to participate in specialized modules covering the theoretical framework of the master's program, combining computer-assisted statistics (R, Stata, Statistica, QGis, Geoda), research methodology, and descriptive statistics. Additionally, they can undergo an internship at the Provincial Statistical Office and participate in dedicated training at one of the NBP Branches. This training track underwent a positive re-accreditation in 2023 for another 5 years.
The framework of the EMOS learning path provides students with an excellent education in statistics. It prepares graduates of this field for a professional career in national and international statistical institutions, central banks or other institutions related to the production and analysis of statistical data.
EMOS is bilingual, which means that classes are conducted in both Polish and English.
