EFMD comprises a network of 30,000 management specialists. They come from a variety of academic circles, businesses, public services and consulting companies. Thanks to the association of numerous professionals, EFMD is a unique forum for the exchange of information, research, as well as establishing new contacts and conducting a debate on innovation and best practices in management.
EFMD created a program of accreditation of universities "Quality Improvement System” (EQUIS), which is one of the leading international systems for assessing the quality of teaching in management and business administration. The EQUIS accreditation program is comparable to its American counterpart Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
The Faculty of Management and Economics is a member of EFMD since 2006 and began the process of obtaining EQIUS accreditation in 2022.
