International Conference: Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIMed) 2026
We welcome everyone interested in artificial intelligence and data analysis, especially students, PhD candidates, early-career researchers, experts, and members of teams and initiatives related to AI, data science, and new technologies. The event is international in scope and will be conducted in English.
It brings together communities from artificial intelligence, computer science, data analytics, and health sciences, focusing on the design, validation, and implementation of AI systems in clinical practice.
The program includes topics such as:

AI regulation in healthcare.
Confirmed speakers: Prof. Marta Kwiatkowska (University of Oxford), Prof. Piotr Sankowski (University of Warsaw) and Prof. Andreas Maier (Pattern Recognition Lab, FAU Erlangen–Nürnberg).
AIMed is a joint initiative of teams from the Polish Institute for Evidence Based Medicine (PIEBM), the Big Data Institute at the University of Oxford, McMaster University (Canada), and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Health Data at the Jagiellonian University Medical College.
We would also like to inform you that the Call for Abstracts is currently open, with the submission deadline on 15 March 2026.
All accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts in collaboration with BMJ Digital Health & AI, and the highest-rated submissions will be selected for oral presentations during the first day of the conference Research & Innovation Day.
Special participation conditions have been prepared for student teams, and two conference scholarships are available for authors whose abstracts are selected for presentation. This is an opportunity to present your work to an international audience and receive financial support to participate in the event.
