The 2026 edition confirmed the high international standing of Gdańsk University of Technology and, consequently, its strong scientific and research potential. GUT was ranked in the 601–800 range in the Business and Economics category.


Similar positions were achieved in Physical Sciences and Life Sciences, while Computer Science was ranked in the 801–1000 range. 

The ranking includes  2,191 universities from 115 countries worldwide. A team of experts evaluates five key areas:

  • Teaching,

  • Research environment,

  • Research quality,

  • International outlook,

  • Industry.

The Business and Economics field comprises several disciplines: Economics and Econometrics, Accounting and Finance, as well as Business and Management.
