Organization of education at Gdańsk Tech in the academic year 2021/2022
The basic form of conducting classes will be stationary, but lectures in large groups should be held remotely - in this case, the decisions will be made by the deans of the faculties.
Deans will define the list of classes that will be carried out in a remote or mixed (hybrid) manner on an ongoing basis, and information on this subject is to be posted on the faculty websites.
Exams and credits are to be held stationary, however, they may also be conducted remotely. The decision on this matter will be made by the dean of the faculty after consultation with the teacher responsible for the subject and the starost of the year, and in the case of doctoral schools - their heads.
Physical education classes at the Academic Sports Center will be held in a stationary form. The ASC Director will determine the conditions of taking part and the method of crediting these classes in a remote or mixed form by students who cannot participate in full-time classes.
All classroom activities will be conducted in accordance with the applicable sanitary regime and taking into account the recommendations and guidelines of the Chief Sanitary Inspector and the Ministry of Education and Science.
On August 15, 2021, the regulation of the Minister of Education and Science, repealing the regulation of the Ministry of Education and Science of February 25, 2021, on the temporary limitation of the operation of certain entities of the higher education and science system in relation to preventing, counteracting and combating COVID-19 entered into force. According to the statement on the Ministry's website, if the number of COVID-19 cases increases, it will be possible to re-introduce restrictions in the operation of some entities of the higher education and science system.
In the event of introducing new legal regulations that will apply in the country in the academic year 2021/2022, the above rules for the organization of education at Gdańsk Tech will remain in force, as long as they do not conflict with the new regulations.
As previously reported, the September re-take session will be performed remotely.
