Areas of research, due to the interdisciplinary interests of our department members, pertain to commercial, public, and social organizations. They focus on social phenomena related to organization and management, finance, algorithms, as well as social communication and management of new media.

The conducted research includes topics such as sustainable development, knowledge and information management, intelligent systems, decision support systems, flexicurity, local government management, innovation management, organization and management in higher education, improving the efficiency of commercial and non-commercial organizations, smart cities, creating inclusive organizations, and employee well-being.

In our research work, we employ both qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of our research are primarily published in internationally circulated scientific journals, as well as in national journals and monographs published by various publishing houses. We are open to both international and national cooperation, striving to overcome any organizational barriers.

We aim to enhance our scientific workshop using funds allocated for training from the Faculty of Economic Sciences. Additionally, we independently organize scientific workshops where young researchers have the opportunity to confront their scientific reflections with experienced researchers.
