We actively engage in activities related to the third mission of the university and sustainable development, for example, by collaborating with the organization PRME (The Principles for Responsible Management Education). Members of our Department co-create the Hub for ZiEmi - the zone for sustainable development at the Faculty of Management and Economics (WZiE), aimed at promoting the idea of sustainable development and the actions taken by the WZiE Community in this area.
Our cooperation with the business environment includes:
- Educational activities (Sunreef Yachts, Method NY, Meta Platforms).
- Enhancing the Faculty's offerings for external stakeholders (Regional Chamber of Accountants, Doraco Construction Corporation, Pomeranian Chamber of Crafts and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises).
- Developing practices and management processes within the university, especially with a focus on sustainable development (Schneider Electric).
We also collaborate with local government organizations (Pomeranian Voivodeship Marshal's Office as part of the Hub for ZiEmi, municipal offices such as the Gdańsk City Hall for the development of smart cities) and non-governmental organizations (A/typowi Foundation for the development of inclusive management practices).
