Optimization of Information Technologies in Intelligent Production Systems: Technical and Non-Technical Aspects

Within the project, a layered ISP model was developed, demonstrating a series of optimization algorithms. A multi-criteria evaluation model for changes in production planning and control systems was developed, taking into account technological and socio-organizational factors and their impact on operational activities. An interdisciplinary Next Generation Manufacturing System (NGMS) model was specified and then related to the organizational levels of production systems: metamodel, model, and methodological (tool-based). Based on an analysis of IT development trends, a synthetic model was proposed, consisting of megatrends: miniaturization, mobility, networking, and virtualization. These trends were related to manufacturing requirements such as digitalization of matter, ergonomics, automation, and integration.
