PhD with habilitation in economics (mail research field: international economics, labor economics); associate professor at Gdansk University of Technology (Department of Economics, Faculty of Management and Economics), doctoral studies director and member of the Doctoral School Council at GdanskTech and at the University of Macerata (Italy). Her research focuses on the empirics of international trade, Global Value Chains and technological progress, and their impact on labor markets and productivity.

A graduate of the Sussex University (2006) and Gdańsk University of Technology (2003), she holds PhD (with honors) from Universita’ Politecnica delle Marche in Italy (2008). As a post-doc she stayed at the University of California-Berkeley (host: David Card - Nobel laureate in economics, 2021) and at the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain). Alumni of the Fulbright Program (Senior Award, 2018), the Foundation for Polish Science and CERGE-EI. Expert of the National Science Center, European Commission, Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission, CERGE-EI, National Agency for Academic Exchange. Member of International Economic Association, American Economic Association, European Econometric Society, European Trade Study Group.

Laurate of the awards from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (scholarship for outstanding young scientists, habilitation award), laurate of the National Bank of Austria Award.

She has published in, inter alia: Review of World Economics; Work, Employment and Society; Economic Modelling, Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, Journal of Productivity Analysis, Review of International Economics, Journal of Macroeconomics, Journal of Economic Inequality, The World Economy.
