Academic Offer

BIT provides a wide range of undergraduate programs taught in English, including:

• Aerospace Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Automation
• Electronics Science and Technology
• Computer Science and Technology
• International Economics and Trade

 Students are required to select courses within their respective academic department.

Academic Calendar

• Fall semester: September – January
• Spring semester: February – June

Eligibility Requirements (BIT)

Applicants must:

• be enrolled at a partner university,
• have completed at least one year of studies,
• demonstrate sufficient language proficiency:
  • English: minimum IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 85 or equivalent
• submit required documents, including:
  • transcript
  • motivation letter
  • recommendation letter
  • proof of language proficiency

Costs

• Tuition fees:
  Students nominated by their home university are exempt from tuition fees (partnership agreement with BIT)
• Costs covered by students:
  • travel expenses
  • meals

Faculty Selection Rules

• Each faculty may nominate:
  • 1 student
  • 1 student on the reserve list

Selection Criteria

Candidates will be evaluated based on:

• GPA
• completed coursework
• no previous study experience in China
• language skills
•  motivation letter
