New intercultural program – apply now
- Why are we afraid to speak English? And why do we focus so much on accents?
- What does Gdańsk look like through the eyes of newcomers?
- Can we counteract discrimination? What is the “Yes, BUT…” campaign in Gdańsk about?
- How does culture – music, art, literature – bring people together? How is this done in Gdańsk?
These and many other questions will be addressed by guests and participants of the OPEN UP! DARE TO! program, which will launch soon at Gdańsk University of Technology.
About the program
- The idea of the program is summed up in the key slogan – open up to the other person and dare to speak English. We invite students and staff to talk about how to navigate an intercultural environment in your work and studies – says Monika Czerepak, Deputy Head of the IRO.
The OPEN UP! DARE TO! program consists of a series of events organized from February 10th to 27th on the campus of Gdańsk University of Technology, aimed at all employees, PhD candidates, and students.
