INTERNATIONAL DAYS is an expanded edition of the ERASMUS DAYS organized in previous years by the International Relations Office.

- This year, we would like to talk more extensively about the benefits of the university's internationalization - not only in the context of the Erasmus+ program, but also Gdańsk University of Technology’s presence in international networks such as the ENHANCE Alliance or mobility projects funded by the National Agency for Academic Exchange, such as PROM - says Anna Modrzejewska, Head of International Relations Office.

Internationalization as an opportunity for growth

The keyword behind INTERNATIONAL DAYS is development, both personal and professional. It is thanks to mobility programs and international cooperation that employees, doctoral and university students of Gdańsk University of Technology can enhance their competencies: professional, linguistic, intercultural, gain valuable work experience, exchange knowledge and build an effective and attractive CV.

This benefits not only the employees, doctoral and university students themselves, but the entire university, which prides itself on its professional staff, numerous international projects and talented graduates.

Anna Modrzejewska: - This year, we have invited the HR Center, Center for Innovative Education, IDUB Office, Doctoral School, Careers and Alumni Office, Education Office and Erasmus+ faculty coordinators to participate in the event with us. We thereby want to show that the university's internationalization is not consolidated in one unit, but applies to the university as a whole.

Celebrating the first birthday of the ENHANCE+ project

The INTERNATIONAL DAYS will also celebrate the first birthday of the ENHANCE+ project. In November 2023, Gdańsk University of Technology launched a four-year project in education together with 9 partner universities from Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland and Poland.

Anna Modrzejewska: - On Tuesday, November 26th, right after the briefing for administrative staff, we would like to invite you - along with the entire ENHANCE+ team at Gdańsk Tech, to the lobby in front of the Auditorium for a birthday cake. One year after the launch of the ENHANCE+ project, we can see how much we have achieved with our partner universities and we wish to brag about it.
