AMBA Accreditation for MBA Programs and International Management

We are delighted to inform you that the master's program in International Management (taught in English) and the International MBA in Strategy, Programme, and Project Management at Gdansk University of Technology have received accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) for the next 5 years.

AMBA is a renowned organization and a leading authority in the field of business education, recognizing only the top programs worldwide. It is also the only professional membership association connecting MBA students and graduates, accredited business schools, and MBA employers globally. For over 50 years, AMBA has been at the forefront of excellence and pioneering innovations as an impartial authority in executive education. AMBA accreditation is the oldest and most prestigious international distinction.

The accreditation we have achieved confirms the highest quality of business education and is granted only to the best management programs. Programs such as Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Business Management (MBM), and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) are held by only 2% of the world's top business schools.

"Obtaining AMBA reaccreditation is a success and an honor for our entire community. I highly appreciate the hard work of everyone who contributed to its achievement. I am pleased that external organizations, guided by high standards and a rigorous evaluation process, have recognized our excellence. We work tirelessly not only during the accreditation process but also every other day. I am glad the committee has acknowledged that," says Dr. Małgorzata Gawrycka, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Economics at Gdansk University of Technology.

"With great relief and joy, I received the news of obtaining a 5-year AMBA reaccreditation. Preparing for the reaccreditation visit was a long and challenging process. The accreditation committee was particularly impressed by the "Hey! Are you OK?" program introduced at Gdansk University of Technology and the mature and courageous decision to create the Fahrenheit consortium. Recognition was also given to the coherent and development-friendly MBA program path. The accreditation team does not rest on its laurels but takes on new tasks because development and improvement are continuous processes that never end," adds Dr. Marta Kuc-Czarnecka, Accreditation Coordinator for AMBA.

Achieving this prestigious recognition is a significant success and the result of the collective effort of many individuals. We express our gratitude to the authorities, including Prof. Dr. Hab. Eng. Krzysztof Wilde, Rector of Gdansk University of Technology, Prorectors of Gdansk University of Technology, lecturers, students, alumni, business partners, all employees of the Faculty of Management and Economics, and the entire university for their commitment to maintaining the highest quality of our activities and support in the accreditation process.

The demanding evaluation process considered conditions of study, programs, qualifications of staff, and student achievements. To obtain AMBA accreditation, one must undergo a thorough assessment by a special committee, composed of representatives from other distinguished universities.
