The issues of post-Soviet states, particularly their economies, are relatively little-known and only sporadically addressed by academic centers in Poland. The Department of Eastern Studies strives to fill this gap. The department undertakes and analyzes selected economic and social issues of these states, as well as their economic relations with the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Community.
